Hand-built ceramics

Lizzie’s hand-built ceramic vessels are individually sculpted, textured and painterly, reflective in the loose weathered bloom she is so drawn to in her paintings. Each work carries its own individual patina in her process of fingers to clay, sculpted construction, sometimes smaller blooms adorning or quietly standing alone in its naked form.

And the ethos of these works is very much as her paintings, offering that feeling of a weathered life, lived well.

She’s begun releasing 2-3 ceramic collections a year, in conjunction with her new bodies of paintings.
